Heat Setter/Heat Setting Tenter
Equipment that heats film to fix its shape.
The roll type is called a roller setter, and the tenter type is called a heat setter or heat setting tenter.
Its purposes include crystallization treatment, which promotes crystallization by heating and slow cooling at the heat fixation section, and annealing treatment, which involves maintaining a certain temperature in the heat fixation section to prevent shrinkage below that temperature in non-crystalline resins.
